Delivery Terms and Weather Conditions

The Cornucopia Carriage is currently only delivering to the following postcodes and on the following designated days. Unfortunately, I cannot accept orders online for other addresses or days.

SW2, SW4, SW9, SW12 (Thursday delivery)

SE5, SE15, SE24 (Friday delivery)

However, should you feel that you are within a reasonable radius of The Cornucopia HQ (SE24 9BB) or on the perimeter of these postcode areas, then please do send an enquiry and I will gladly assess the accessibility of your address.

Alternatively, if you fancy tottering down to Tulse Hill then I am accepting orders for pick-up in person from The Cornucopia HQ on Mondays between 10am and 6pm.

Delivery times

Due to the exposed nature of The Cornucopia Carriage and the elegant attire in which it is intended to be ridden, delivery times will depend somewhat on the weather. As such, I cannot provide a more precise time window than 10am to 6pm, so please ensure the intended recipient (or a convincing doppelganger) is in residence. Food this good should not be left out for the foxes!

Saturdays between 12pm and 6pm (depending on availability at booking).

Afternoon Teas - Conditions of the Carriage

For safety reasons and to ensure the integrity of your comestible cargo, should it be raining to an unpleasant degree on the day of your afternoon tea, then unfortunately The Cornucopia Carriage will not be able to sally forth in its full splendour. I will endeavour to deliver your delectable edibles in as elegant a way as the Great British weather permits on that day, and by way of an apology I would be delighted to offer you 10% off your next order.

Some more salient points

Where possible we would advise taking delivery at a business premises where someone will be available throughout working hours. It is also possible to send goods to a neighbour if specified on checkout. Please note it is not possible to give multiple alternatives for the delivery address. My thighs will not allow it.
It is your duty to ensure that the delivery day is suitable for either yourself or your gift recipient to accept an order.
I cannot accept responsibility for addresses provided incorrectly, only for my poor navigation skills.
Please note I will need the telephone number of the recipient in order to send updates on my arrival time and any unanticipated delays.
Unless otherwise agreed, your goodies will be despatched on the designated day and could be delivered any time up until 6pm.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Whilst every effort will be made to meet fulfil your order, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought, Severe Weather or other causes beyond even the control of The Cornucopia.

Peeves Procedure

It is your responsibility to check your order carefully immediately on receipt of goods. In the unlikely event of your order being unsatisfactory or incomplete you should accept delivery and contact The Cornucopia within two working days.

Cancellations and Returns

As our products are produced to order, we regret that once an order is placed it is not possible to cancel it and refunds cannot be given. As such, credit card authorisation and payment will be taken upon placement of orders. In the unlikely event of a product being unsatisfactory, please contact us immediately.

Edibles Accuracy

Every care has been taken to ensure that all prices and descriptions on the website are correct. In the case of an egregious error on my part, I can only express my embarrassment, send my abject apologies, and give you the opportunity to cancel your order. Please send an email poste haste to alert me to any issues.

I have endeavoured to identify where possible where products contain allergens, but customers with severe allergies should please get in touch if they are uncertain.

Nuts about nuts

All products are produced in an extremely nutty environment and could possibly be contaminated with nuts.

The Cornucopia will only use your personal information to process any orders you may place. In the instance that I launch a newsletter to share The Cornucopia chronicles, your email address may be added to the list with an option to opt out. For more information, visit the privacy policy page
