The Cornucopia Afternoon Tea is perfect for small parties and special occasions and would make a great gift for anyone who likes a little knees-up while keeping their feet up... Indeed, the host need not lift a finger as The Cornucopia Carriage will come laden with delectable edibles (see menu below) that are all ready to savour (or scoff!) in whatever way the revellers see fit. That said, we do recommend serving the polenta wedges warm!

And if you'd like to recreate that authentic vintage tea party atmosphere, you can hire out a full set of crockery from The Cornucopia's very own carefully curated collection. What's more, you won't even have to do the dishes as we will take them away after the event. It's the ideal antedote to arduous modern life... Simply add "Vintage Crockery Hire" to your order, and select your tea party size.

Pricing includes a delivery fee of £10 for groups of 4 to 9, and delivery is free for groups of 10 to 12.

Roasted corn

Ingredients: maize, vegetable oil (palm), salt. Allergy advice from manufacturer: May contain traces of peanuts, almonds, cashews, sesame seeds and wheat flour.

Olives and sundried tomatoes

Ingredients: pitted green olives, sundried tomatoes, sunflower oil, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, garlic, oregano, black pepper, white wine vinegar, citric acid.

Peanut butter houmous

Ingredients: chick peas, garlic, olive oil, peanut butter (100% peanuts), lemon juice, salt.

Beetroot houmous

Ingredients: white bread (wheat flour, water, yeast, salt, rapeseed oil, spirit vinegar, calcium proprionate, soya flour, emulsifiers (tartaric acid, palm oil), ascorbic acid), vegan spread (plant oils (sunflower, rapeseed, sustainable palm, linseed), water, salt, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), vinegar, natural flavourings, vitamin A), cucumber.

Sundried tomato polenta

Ingredients: cornmeal, salt, garlic, sundried tomatoes (sunflower oil, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, garlic, oregano, black pepper, white wine vinegar, citric acid), oregano, olive oil.

French bean salad

Ingredients: kidney beans, flageolet beans, sweetcorn, green beans, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, mixed herbs.

Ingredients: vegan spread (plant oils (sunflower, rapeseed, sustainable palm, linseed), water, salt, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), vinegar, natural flavourings, vitamin A), sugar, peanut butter (100% peanuts), golden syrup (sugar), orange zest, lemon zest, oats, dried fruits (raisins, sultanas, currants, sunflower oil, candied orange peel, candied lemon peel, glucose-fructose syrup, citric acid), pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, golden linseed, brown linseed.

Joan Mary’s Cocoanoat Squares

Ingredients: vegan spread (plant oils (sunflower, rapeseed, sustainable palm, linseed), water, salt, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), vinegar, natural flavourings, vitamin A), wheat flour, oats, desiccated coconut, cocoa powder, baking powder (disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate, rice flour), sugar, vanilla essence.

Pain d’Epices

Ingredients: wheat flour, baking powder (disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate, rice flour), golden syrup (sugar), ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, oat milk, black tea, orange and lemon peel (glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, citric acid, sulphur dioxide).

Vegan Chocolate Orange and Almond Fudge

Ingredients: dark chocolate (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring. Contains 50% cocoa solids. Allergy advice from manufacturer: May contain milk, nuts, peanuts, soya and cereals containing gluten), vegan spread (plant oils (sunflower, rapeseed, sustainable palm, linseed), water, salt, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), vinegar, natural flavourings, vitamin A), coconut condensed milk (coconut syrup, coconut milk, sugar, xanthan gum, guar gum, salt, polysorbate, titanium dioxide), orange zest, almonds.
The Cornucopia Afternoon Tea is best savoured on the day of delivery. However, should you be able to resist scoffing the entire confection in one sitting, a few items can be kept an extra day or two in airtight containers. For guidance:

Roasted corn

Keep in an airtight container or the original delivery pot and consume within three days.

Olives and sundried tomatoes

Keep refrigerated in an airtight container or the original delivery pot and consume within 1-2 days.

Peanut butter houmous

Eat on day of delivery. Alternatively, refrigerate immediately and consume within three days.

Beetroot houmous

Eat on day of delivery. Alternatively, refrigerate immediately and consume within three days.

Carrot crudités

Keep refrigerated in an airtight container and consume within 1-2 days.

Cucumber sandwiches

Eat on day of delivery. Alternatively, refrigerate immediately in an airtight container and consume within two days.

Sundried tomato polenta

Eat on day of delivery. Alternatively, refrigerate immediately in an airtight container and devour within two days.

Chocolate Fudge

Eat on day of delivery. Alternatively, pop straight in the freezer and consume within a month, but remember to take it out 5 - 10 mins early as the flavour becomes fuller as it warms... But beware, it softens quickly in summer!

Alternatively, keep in an airtight container in the fridge and devour within a week.
Delivery terms and weather conditions

For safety reasons and to ensure the integrity of your comestible cargo, should it be raining on the day of your afternoon tea, then unfortunately The Cornucopia Carriage will not be able to sally forth in its full splendour. We will endeavour to deliver your delectable edibles in as elegant a way as the Great British weather permits on that day, and by way of an apology we would be delighted to offer you 10% off your next order.
